Rae Edzo is comprised of the two villages of Rae and Edzo, located on opposite sides of Marian Lake, just north of Great Slave Lake.

The largest Dene community in the Northwest Territories lives here, and most live the way of their ancestors, hunting and fishing for their livelihood. The village women produce many crafts, which they sell in local shops. Be sure to pick up the intricately beaded moccasins, embroidered cloths, and embroidered hides.
